Rohtang pass is located approximately 50 kms away from Manali. Due to its difficult terrain, It can only be reached via road. The pass connects Kullu valley with the mountains of Lahaul and Spiti.

Best time to visit Rohtang pass is in summers. During winters, the place remains closed as the entire area is covered with a thick blanket of snow.

Tourists can indulge in a lot of adventure sports activities such as Skiing, skating, paragliding, and more.

Jogini Waterfalls also offers a beautiful trek for all adventure lovers. The trek route passes through stunning pine forests and orchards. Snow covered peaks of Rohtang Pass can be seen from all through the trek. Streams of Beas river gushing out makes for a beautiful natural scenery. The trek lasts for close to 30 minutes which gives you picturesque views of this scenic place.

Bhrigu Lake

Bhrigu lake is located at a distance of 43 kms from the main town of Manali. It lies on the eastern side of Rohtang Pass. It is popularly known as the “Pool of Gods”. While visiting Bhrigu Lake, make sure to cover Nehru Kund as well. It is a natural water spring, located nearby to the Lake. In fact, Nehru Kund is fed by waters of the Bhrigu lake.

Solang valley is one of the best places to visit in Manali. Thousands of adventure sports lovers throng this place every year to enjoy all kinds of adventure activities. It lies about 14 kms away from Manali and is located between Solang village and Beas Kund.

How To Reach: You can board a local bus from Manali Bus stand, and it should not cost more than 25 Rupees per head. Taxi can be hired from the local taxi union; they have their rates for half day, full day and specific sightseeing.
Timings: Solang Valley is open throughout the year. However, you can try the adventure sports only between 9 am and 5 pm.
